General profile:

• Education: A1, University Degree or equivalent;
• Certification such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, MCSE, MCSA, DRII, BCI, etc is a plus;
• Good presentation and training skills;
• Dealing with sensitive issues requires solid moral and ethical standards on your behalf;
• You are a self-motivated, team player with the ability to work unsupervised in a fast paced, priority driven, deadline intensive environment;
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Dutch (French and/or German is an additional plus).

Junior Security Enthusiasts

This Excellent Opportunity exists for Junior Security Engineers that want to develop and build a high profile career within IT and Information Security!

Ascure will provide you with the foundations, skills and experience to step your way up within an organization that believes in staff development. Ascure has a unique internal education and development program designed for junior security engineers, build around its own Ascure Academy and external education partners.

As junior security engineer you will develop IT and information security architectures, implement security solutions and will support in-depth security analysis and testing activities under the guidance of an expert or senior security engineer.

We are looking for Individuals with the following skills and experience:

• At least 2-3 years experience within IT infrastructure, System operations, Networking or Development, with a passion for IT and Information security.
• Or an educational experience in IT infrastructure, System operations, Networking or Development, with a passion for IT and Information security.
  

Other requirements:

• Strong communication and customer relation skills.
• A strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
• Ready to take up the challenge to become a Senior IT and Information Security expert.
• Plus security certifications of SANS, ISC2, ISACA, security vendors, etc.
• The junior security engineer must possess a Bachelor’s, Engineering degree or Masters in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
